The Earth School and the Life Courses of Study
I am always reflecting on life in general, and mine in particular. I awoke this Christmas Day thinking about my current role as a student enrolled in a degree program for a Master of Arts in Psychology. I then realized that I am also a student enrolled in another program in another school. This program offers no degrees or certifications, although I do gain knowledge and skills that are valuable to my life, when applied. The school is the Earth School, and the courses are the life situations and circumstances I have chosen to find myself in. These “courses” are designed to help me learn about myself to improve myself. While I don’t get credits for taking the courses, having done the work, and passing the finals, I do, in the end, gain a great deal of life experience.
In my work as an intuitive coach and life lesson consultant, I know that every person on the planet is enrolled and attending the same school, though the courses of study may be different, as they seem to be tailor-made for each student. Whether conducting an intuitive reading or a coaching session, I always look for the possible Life Lessons a particular situation or circumstance has within it for my clients. In understanding the Lessons of the situation, you can appreciate its purpose in your life, and value the experience gained.
One of my passions is learning about myself, becoming more self-aware. Coaching and consulting allows me to join others in their own processes of self-discovery. If you are interested in having me partner with you on your own journey of self-discovery, you can reach me by e-mail at james@life-plan-blog.com or through the contact information on the LifePlan site.
Remember, in times of reflection, ask yourself, What did that situation teach me about myself? What experience did I gain from having gone through that? When you get those answers, you can appreciate its purpose in your life. Like coaching, it’s all designed to move you forward, from where you are now to where you want (and sometimes, need) to be.
Your coach, in your process of becoming,
James

January 2, 2012 at 9:14 pmDear Adiana,
I enjoyed the comment. I do think it’s the “ticket” to the show we call life. It’s like getting a backstage pass that allows you to see the production from behind-the-scenes. When you look at things from this perspective, you see the stage performance rather differently.
I hope you get to enjoy the show that is your life more now.
Your fellow stage performer,
James

February 7, 2012 at 2:58 pmWonderful thoughts, James. I agree that lessons we learn every day are more helpful than any other. All we have to do is be willing to learn and see the opportunities in front of us every day. We miss you at Tarot! It’s a blessing to know you.

February 9, 2012 at 5:56 amDear Susan,
Thank you so much for the response. I agree with you on how the lessons we learn can be more helpful than any other. While I love being in college, and the whole learning process, I have learned more about myself through my everyday life experience.
And, Susan, I miss being at our Tarot group meetings, too. I am hoping to make an appearance soon, and be back on a regular basis. I’ll be looking to see you.
And, Susan, thank you for allowing my presence to be a blessing to you. And, I, too, am blessed by knowing you.
Blessings to you,
James
