Coaching by the Cards: Confused About Friendship–the Update!
This post, in the Coaching by the Cards series, is an update from the reader who submitted the first entry used for the column.
“Confused” sent in his experience concerning a friendship. I pulled three cards, and gave him some coaching based on the information I was receiving from the Tarot.
Well, “Confused” recently dropped me a line about the consultation, letting me know that he’d had a dream the same evening he read the post that helped him put this situation into perspective. With his permission, here’s the dream, in his own words:
“My friend and I were in two different large parking lots, with a great distance between them. I could see him, but he failed to see me. I had on a green winter coat; he did not have a coat on at all. He had a bag (he was coming out of a mall), and I seemed to think inside the bag there was a gift for me. We each left our respective lots, going in opposite directions. I was walking behind a white Jeep; it’s one of those that mail carriers use, but a family was inside it (husband, wife, kids), turning right out of the lot I was in.”
And this was his response, to both the consult and the dream, again, in his own words:
“James,
I felt a great sense of peace with this dream, as I felt it validated your reading. We have become distant, and are now moving in two different directions. We have two different temperments (my having a coat, and he does not). The coat could also suggest protection from his “cold” treatment. He probably won’t contact me (failing to notice me). The bag could be his “baggage,” and it’s probably something I don’t need to have; the “gift” might be in actually letting each other go our separate ways.
“I think the Jeep meant that I should ‘follow the message’ of this dream, so I am. I’m letting this friend go.
“You couldn’t have been more right about getting an omen or premonition!
“Thank you again for the reading. It’s been most helpful.”
I think “Confused” did an amazing job interpreting his own dream!
I love that “Confused” circled back to let me know how things turned out. It is always gratifying to hear how the work with Tarot can confirm and validate a situation. And I got a two-fer: “Confused” also shared with me a dream (and for those of you who read my Dream Decoding posts know, I always love hearing about a dream)!
