Could You Tell a Better Story?
We are natural-born storytellers. Our lives are the outer manifestations of the stories we have in our heads, which are the ones we tell ourselves, as well as the ones that come from our mouths, which are the ones we tell those around us.
What stories are you telling?
Abraham encourages us to begin to tell the story of what we desire, and embellish that story with positive expectation by asking the question, “Wouldn’t it be nice if…?”
Once we have our better-feeling stories, Abraham says to continue to tell them. Every time we tell them, we will feel better, and then our lives become better.
So, for today, let us affirm: “Only good things come to me.” And the better it gets, the better it gets.
