Today’s Tarot card, the 4 of Staves, is a card of celebration; it can mean that you have reached a stage of completion in your endeavors, and being encouraged to take things to the next stage or level, now that a firm foundation has been set (the number 4).

In the image on the card, a young couple, now married, is leaving the church where their wedding ceremony was held. This represents the change in their relationship status: they went into the ceremony engaged, and are leaving as husband and wife. It’s official.

Consider what “status change” you would like to make “official” in your life. Do you have the foundation in place to create that change?

Going in a spiritual direction (symbolized by the church, and the superhero perched on the steeple), a wedding can represent the unification of our masculine (groom) and feminine (bride) energies. Most often, we fall into one of two camps (Staves being the suit of both our public and personal identities): we are either considered “thinkers” (male energy) or “feelers” (feminine energy). This card could suggest “marrying” the two, which is bringing both aspects into balance.

For those of us working with the Law of Attraction, it is said that manifestation is the result of both our thoughts (groom) and our feelings (bride).

So, for today, look at the progress you are making in your life (our hero looking down at the married couple), and find a way to acknowledge or celebrate that progress. What ritual or ceremony could you come up with?

And as you do so, also know that the foundation has been set for the next stage and chapter…
