When our Tarot card for today, the 6 of Swords, flies overhead, it’s a message that you are in a state of transition.

This card acknowledges that you’ve been experiencing difficulties and you are moving away from those difficulties.

In the image on the card, two planes fly over the mountains, which symbolize our ability to transcend our challenges. I also see it as having to reach a certain altitude to avoid “turbulence.”

Swords represent the way we think and communicate, as well as our decision-making and problem-solving abilities. With this card, I see the clear skies as representing our “mental atmosphere.”

In order to transcend our challenges in life (the mountains), we sometimes have to think about things differently, to see situations from a new point of view.

When we see things differently, when we place some distance between ourselves and our circumstances, we allow ourselves to gain the objectivity needed to make those clear-cut decisions and to see solutions where we once only saw problems.

And when we allow ourselves to do that, we not only rise above our challenges, but we also get to soar to new heights.
