Stepping into the New
When you are greeted by the Fledgling, she is giving you a heads up, letting you know that you are about to experience a new phase or the next chapter in your life. This is a time of new growth and wonderful new opportunities.
As we grow and evolve, we can sometimes outgrow certain people, places, and spaces. That outgrowth can create the need to move on and move into new scenes.
The Fledgling reminds us that when we move on and move into the new, we will stumble a bit, at first. She is saying, “You can’t move into something new thinking you will know everything you need to know from the outset. You will be learning as you experience things. Or else what would be the point? You might as well just go back to where you were—where you did know everything.”
She also wants you to know that things will not be perfect—and she is asking you to be gentle with yourself. Don’t expect perfection from yourself—or from other people and circumstances. Nothing begins perfectly. Everyone—and everything—is striving to become perfect. It’s a process—not an arrival.
This is a time of becoming—this new stage and phase is playing its part in your becoming more of the person you are meant to be. The Fledgling wants you to step forward with a sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn and discover.
What will you learn and discover today?
Your partner in self-discovery,
