Today’s Reflection: I Am Patient with Myself At All Times
I am patient with myself at all times.
I deserve all of the goodness and peace that life has to offer. Part of that peace comes from accepting that, due to human nature, I make mistakes.
Mistakes are a normal part of life. Because of this, I am patient with myself at all times.
My serenity about my own life helps me approach others in a cool and collected manner.
My patience manifests as inner peace, which radiates out and touches everyone I meet. This is yet another reason I cultivate a patient attitude.
Sometimes, I want to learn or accomplish something quickly. I may have high hopes and big goals, but find out that things are not progressing as quickly as I would prefer. At times like these, I remind myself that I am a good and worthwhile person, worthy of my own patience.
If I ever feel challenged to manifest patience, I pause for a moment and look at myself as a loving parent would. I extend love and patience to myself. I trust that I can learn what I need to know – and do what I need to do – all in good time.
Today, I cultivate a patient attitude toward myself. Knowing that my thoughts create my attitudes and control my actions, I cheer myself on with serene, patient thoughts throughout the day.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. What are some situations where I benefited from patience toward myself?
2. When do I feel most patient?
3. How can I cultivate greater patience with myself?
