Weekly Affirmation Card for February 6th – 12th

In the image of “My self-care is a priority,” a woman is having a spa day, about to experience a massage. ⁣

“My self-care is a priority” suggests taking a much-needed break and creating some “me time,” perhaps as part of a larger wellness regimen. This break in your normal activities and routine is long overdue; you’re being encouraged to use this time to revitalize yourself.⁣ ⁣

Going with the image, this might be in the form of an actual spa day, or some other way in which you pamper yourself. You might consider going to get a massage or treat yourself to a manicure and/or pedicure. ⁣

Going back to the idea of a wellness regimen, the woman lying on a massage table could also indicate chiropractic care or some other type of bodywork experience. Another, more metaphysical possibility would be to receive a Reiki treatment or to experience some other energy healing modality. ⁣

This card could also suggest rest and relaxation, that you could see about getting more sleep or incorporating “power naps” into your day. ⁣

However you choose to do it, the message of “My self-care is a priority” is to slow down your busy life so that you can rejuvenate. We all need to find ways to hit the “pause” button and get refreshed. ⁣

This is especially true for those who spend a great deal of time and energy taking care of others. This card turns up as a reminder that caring for yourself is just as important a priority as taking care of those around you. ⁣

What will you do that’s just for you today? Affirm: My self-care is a priority.
