Weekly Affirmation Card for February 13th – 19th
As I look at “My life is filled with wondrous beauty,” the phrase “stopping to smell the roses” immediately comes to mind, which suggests taking a moment to appreciate the beauty around you at this moment. Focus on what’s beautiful and lovely about you as well (externally and, more importantly, internally).
Keeping with the “smelling the roses” metaphor, the idea of scents is coming to mind, and with that, fragrances. This could be the day to literally receive the gift of perfume, or some other item that’s scented (a candle, essential oil, or incense also come to mind).
This also brings to mind the Archangel Muriel, whose name translates as “perfume of God” and is associated with myrrh, which is used as a perfume. So, it’s possible you’re being encouraged to use myrrh in some way, or to work more closely with the energy of Muriel.
Other possibilities might include working with flower essences (I’m thinking Bach Flower Remedies), or incorporating rose oil or rose water into your spiritual practice. Muriel is impressing upon me that, if you’re a crystal person, carrying a rose quartz crystal (especially close to your heart) at this time would be a wonderful thing to do.
Whatever you choose to do, “My life is filled with wondrous beauty” suggests you’re in the process of blooming, blossoming, and unfolding (the roses). Don’t force your process of “opening up”; rather, take time to gently observe and appreciate the experience.
