For me, as a cartomancer, one of the older meanings of the Ace of Spades is being initiated into the learning of esoteric and/or mystical wisdom or knowledge, as it’s known as the Order of the Magi card.

So, for some, this might suggest being introduced to that type of material as the means to expand your (spiritual) awareness. It can also suggest taking that knowledge and “working it” in this 21st century.

⁣In some circles, the Ace of Spades is known as the “death” card. I don’t read it as such in the literal sense, but more metaphorically. With that, the Ace of Spades turning up today may be a message to consider how you “handle” certain aspects of your life as they reach their natural conclusions. Along those lines, the Ace of Spades can also suggest working toward rebuilding your life.⁣⁣

Since the Ace of Spades can also represent the mind and making decisions, the message here might be that it’s just a matter of making up your mind to do so, and then taking the first small action step in that process.

⁣I’ll end on this note: The Ace of Spades can signal a time of transformation. It might begin with a change of mind, moving away from thoughts about being dealt a certain “hand” in life and more toward thinking about tapping into your inner willpower and determination to turn things around (like the idea of turning lemons into lemonade).⁣⁣
