Card of the Week: “I Create Positive Changes in My Life.”
Aside from signaling positive changes ahead and things improving, the stork symbolism offers other possibilities.
First, this card can also be about moving, meaning a change in geographic location. And that’s because the stork is a bird that migrates. As I gave this possibility some thought, I heard the Bananarama song “Moving On” in my head; the song is about moving on from a situation or experience that is no longer serving and supportive, so I will also offer that. I know from personal experience that a change in geographic scenery can do wonders. When I left my native New Jersey for South Carolina, I made many changes that really enhanced (improved) my life.
This card can also be about expectations, if you go with the idea that the stork is known for making deliveries to expectant mothers (used to answer the “where do babies come from” question posed by curious children to parents not ready to tackle it). So, in a literal sense you might be expecting a delivery of some sort, waiting for it to arrive. In a more metaphorical sense, this card might suggest managing the expectations you have of others because they may not be able to “deliver” in the manner you want or need.
Whatever the case may be, “I create positive changes in my life” signals a potential birthing or re-birthing. This is the time to spread your metaphorical wings and soar to new heights.
