Introducing the Christ Consciousness Oracle
About the Christ Consciousness Oracle
The Christ Consciousness Oracle focuses on Jesus, the Master Teacher and Healer of the Christian mythos. Each card in this 33-card deck (the number known as the Christ vibration) represents an aspect of the life and workings of the Ascended Master. The Christ Consciousness Oracle was created to be used as a divinatory tool in one’s practice, allowing it to answer questions from the mystical and the mundane.

companion materials for the christ consciousness oracle
When I first created the Christ Consciousness Oracle, I didn’t plan on having any reference material to accompany it. My intention was for the deck to be used within my personal divinatory study and practice.
When people saw cards from the deck and expressed interest in purchasing it, I then had to consider written material for the deck. So, I’m in the process of creating companion material.
I have two types in mind. The first will be a short list of meanings that can be put to use right away, while the second will be more in the form of a book. The list most likely will be in a pdf format, while the larger guide might be in e-book form. The larger guide will elaborate more on the individual cards, and share more techniques on how I personally work with the cards.
Below are a couple of samples, just to give you a sense of how I read and/or interpret the cards:
it is finished
“It is finished.” According to Christian scriptures, these were said to be the final words spoken by Jesus the Christ at the last moments of his crucifixion, as he made his transition back to Source Energy. The words were spoken as Jesus the Christ realized his work on the Earth plane had been fulfilled.
With that in mind, It Is Finished turns up to suggest that a major event has reached its end stage in your life, and you’re moving into a transitional phase as the next stage presents itself.
As in the case of the Master Teacher and Healer, you might be sensing that what you thought/felt/believed to be your calling or life mission is changing. One possibility is that you’re becoming aware of a shift – or an evolution – in your own Great Work; if so, It Is Finished can suggest a pause as you allow the next stage or phase to begin its process of unfoldment. As you move through this possible transition, consider what lessons were learned from the previous incarnation of that Work.
Another possibility is that your Great Work has been fulfilled altogether and that door is now closing, leaving you to ponder what’s next. If so, be open and receptive to directives from the Divine (Mary looking upward – toward the light), and consider taking action on that guidance when it comes. This may be a time to pay attention to any synchronistic circumstances you may find yourself experiencing.
Another possibility is that you’re being encouraged to speak the words “it is finished” with regard to a situation or experience that is no longer serving or supporting you. Making that declaration or stating that affirmation can be the first step in your process of moving beyond that situation or experience. And then take any action steps that would be in alignment with your stated declaration and affirmation.
And finally, It Is Finished can suggest this is a time to quiet your conscious mind or intellectual nature – allowing your subconscious mind or intuitive nature to speak to you more clearly. Pay particular attention to what comes to you during moments of meditation or from your sleep dreams.
Five Loaves, Two Fish
When Five Loaves, Two Fish turns up, it offers a few possibilities for your consideration.
Going with the physical first, since food is in the card’s image, the first possibility is that you might be concerned about your diet, and needing to make some changes in this area. The bread might suggest watching those carbs, or to incorporate more grains into your diet; the fish might suggest literally eating more fish, or that you’ll have to change the idea of a “see food” (pun for seafood) diet in your mind – meaning, you can’t just eat anything and everything in sight. It might time for a bit of moderation.
Metaphorically, the five rolls can be a visual pun for the “roles” you play in your world (five being the number of the physical and material world). Perhaps you’re stretching yourself too thin by taking on more than you can “chew” – or perhaps, you’re giving thought as to how you can show up more, that you see a need (or needs) in your world that you could somehow meet. The fish, being a symbol for spirituality, might suggest the possibility of serving (food is served to others) in a spiritual capacity.
This now brings me to the spiritual emphasis of this card, which is abundance. The image speaks of the account in Christian scripture where Jesus the Christ feeds the multitude (five thousand) with five loaves and two fish. Jesus, being the Master Teacher, demonstrates a spiritual principle for abundance. In that account, he looked up to heaven, gave thanks for what he had in hand, broke it and then shared it with others. The takeaway here is that in order for abundance to be expressed in life, one has to look to Source and have an attitude of gratitude with what is in hand at the moment (what you currently have) – blessing (thinking and speaking with positive affirmation) what one has in the (present) moment can create the avenue(s) for more to come.
With that, let this be the day you begin to change your thinking and speaking about what you have – allowing the stage to be set to move from “just enough” to “more than enough.” And so it is.
Using the Cards
There are many ways to work with the cards. One of the ways I use the deck is for what I call a “daily draw.” I ask a simple question, like “What is my guidance for today?” or “What do I need to focus on today?” I then draw a single card as the answer, and reflect on the possibilities being offered as guidance.
I also work with the cards to answer more specific questions, using “What do I need to know about (the particular situation or experience)?” as the prompt. This is just one example of the numerous types of questions you can put to the cards. I then draw three cards: the first representing the situation; the second offering guidance or advice; and the third suggesting a potential or possible outcome. As with the single card draw mentioned above, I take time to reflect on each of the cards for the insights they can provide.
And the third way I like to use my deck is to read a line of five cards. As with the three-card draw, I ask a clear and specific question; for example, “What do I need to know about the direction of my spiritual practice?” I draw five cards: the first represents the situation; the second, my expectations; the third, any possible hidden influences; the fourth, guidance or advice being offered for consideration; and the fifth card, a potential or possible outcome.
While the Christ Consciousness Oracle was initially created for my personal use, I believe it can also be used by people with all levels of reading experience. Whether you’re just staring out reading cards, or you consider yourself to be an expert, the Christ Consciousness Oracle can be a tool for your personal and spiritual growth and development.
